Executive Letter: Holiday Reflections
Dear Baltimore,
The end of the year always brings about a special time of reflection and gratitude along with renewed commitment and enhanced motivation for the upcoming year. As I reflect over this past year, I can not help but be thankful for your passion for our community and willingness to serve others above all else. Together, we have been able to navigate tough challenges and secure incredible victories that will benefit all residents in need of shelter and services and also help to break the cycle of homelessness for so many. I am equally as passionate about this work and as we look forward to 2025, I am excited to work even closer with our partners, providers, city leaders, advocates, and people with lived experience of homelessness to further our mission of making homelessness rare, brief, and nonrecurring in Baltimore City.
In service, Ernestina Simmons, LCSW-C Executive Director
