Good Friday Holiday: DPW Offices, Sanitation Yards Closed Friday, April 7
Make-up Day for Friday’s Trash, Recycling Collections is Saturday, April 8

In observance of Good Friday, Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) Director Jason W. Mitchell, Ed.D., reminds residents that DPW Offices and Sanitation Yards will be closed Friday, April 7, 2023.

Trash and recycling collections WILL BE impacted by the holiday closure. Trash/Recycling make-up day is Saturday, April 8, 2023.

     The following DPW sanitation yards will be CLOSED to residents and haulers:  

  • Northwest Transfer Station, 5030 Reisterstown Road
  • Quarantine Road Landfill, 6100 Quarantine Road
  • Northwest Residential Drop-off Center, 2840 Sisson Street
  • Southwestern Residential Drop-off Center, 701 Reedbird Avenue
  • Eastern Residential Drop-off Center, 6101 Bowleys Lane

Mechanical street sweeping WILL NOT be in effect.
