Fallsway and Pulaski Highway Impound Facilities Accepting Vehicles Towed for Parking Enforcement Activities
With parking enforcement now underway, vehicles towed due to parking violations will be taken to either the Fallsway or Pulaski Highway Impound Facilities
BALTIMORE, MD — The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that vehicles towed for parking enforcement activities will now be taken to either the Fallsway or Pulaski Highway Impound facilities.
The Department of Transportation recently resumed the majority of its parking enforcement activities and traffic investigations, which were previously suspended because of the coronavirus health emergency. These activities include:
-
Peak-hour parking enforcement – Parking along city gateways during peak travel times (e.g., 7am to 9am or 4pm to 6pm; posted parking restriction times vary)
- 48-hour parking enforcement
-
Scofflaw enforcement – Three or more unpaid parking citations which are each outstanding for 30 or more days
- Vehicle towing to the Fallsway Impound Facility
- Traffic investigations
Vehicles that are towed as a result of parking enforcement activities will be taken to either the Fallsway Impound Lot located at 410 Fallsway, or the city’s main impound facility at 6700 Pulaski Highway. Motorists are strongly advised to call 410-545-3417 or 410-396-1878 to determine which facility their vehicle is located before attempting to retrieve their vehicles.
As a reminder, motorists should adhere to all posted parking restrictions and time limits. Vehicles parked in violation are subject to being ticketed and towed. Drivers should never park at any meters which are bagged or inoperable.
