Quarantine Road Landfill Resumes Normal Operations
Large Haulers Can Access the Facility

Operations at the Baltimore City Department of Public Works’ (DPW) Quarantine Road Landfill have returned to normal, following temporary operational adjustments after an employee tested positive for COVID-19 last week.

  • Large haulers can now use the Landfill.
  • Small haulers and City residents may continue to drop off unwanted items and trash.

Quarantine Road Landfill employees who came in contact with the COVID-19- positive worker were tested by the Baltimore City Health Department and remain quarantined. To staff the Landfill, DPW is utilizing workers from other Bureau of Solid Waste facilities.
