Pandemic EBT (P-EBT)
P-EBT is a new program to provide money for food for families with children. Every family that has children in Baltimore City Public Schools will receive $114 per month per child. Families that already receive SNAP/food stamps will see an increase in their monthly payments automatically. Families that do not receive SNAP/food stamps will receive a benefits card from the school their child attends. Parents should confirm their address and phone number by contacting their school.

Community Spotlight:
A generous donation from Baltimore's Sister City, Xiamen, China
On May 28th, a shipment of 50,000 surgical masks was delivered to Baltimore City Hall. This was a gift from Baltimore's sister city Xiamen, China to assist in Baltimore's COVID-19 response efforts. It followed an April letter of support from Xiamen's Mayor Zhuang Jiahan to Mayor Jack Young. The masks have been distributed based on request from local healthcare institutions to meet critical shortages of this equipment. 2020 marks the 35 anniversary of the Baltimore Xiamen sister city relationship. Over the years, the Sister Cities have engaged in numerous business, education, medical and cultural projects and exchanges. After having supported each other through these challenging times, we know the partnership between our cities will be stronger than ever!
