Roadway Resurfacing to Begin Along a Portion of Baltimore Street

Baltimore, MD (October 08, 2019) – The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that roadway resurfacing will soon begin along a portion of Baltimore Street.

Resurfacing work along Baltimore Street between Howard and Gay Streets is scheduled to begin on or about Thursday, October 10, 2019.  Daily lane closures will be implemented along this stretch of Baltimore Street from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day, weather permitting for ADA ramp construction and concrete repair work.  In addition, single lane closures will be implemented overnight to allow the concrete repairs to adequately cure.  At least two lanes of through traffic will remain open for motorists during these times.

Construction work along Baltimore Street is scheduled to last for approximately 6 weeks.  Motorists traveling in this vicinity may encounter delays and should allow additional travel time.  Citizens should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns when approaching the work zone and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
