Baltimore DPW and MOED Graduate 4thClass of Young Adults
from the YH20 Water Mentoring Program
Program prepares young adults for entry-level careers in the water industry
Who: Mayor Catherine E. Pugh and DPW Director Rudolph S. Chow, P.E. will be joined by Baltimore City Council President Bernard C. “Jack” Young, Baltimore City Comptroller Joan Pratt for this event. Also attending will be Mayor’s Office of Employment Development Director Jason Perkins-Cohen and Chesapeake Water Environment Association (CWEA) President Ellen Frketic, YH2O mentors and coaches.
What: A ceremony to celebrate the completion of DPW and MOED's 2018 YH2O Youth Water Mentoring Program for nine young adults. This is the program’s 4th graduating class since it began in 2015. YH20 is a water industry job training program for 18 through 24 year old city residents.
Where: Curran Conference Room, 4th floor, City Hall, 100 Holliday Street
