Man Dies in E. Baltimore House Fire
Tuesday, January 9, 2018 – (Baltimore, MD) – On Thursday, January 4, just before 2:00 a.m. Baltimore City firefighters were dispatched to the 800 block of Cator Ave in E. Baltimore for the report of a fire.
Upon arrival, firefighters had heavy fire conditions showing from a two-story occupied end of group dwelling. During firefighter's primary search, they were able to rescue an adult male from the dwelling and transported him to an area hospital for treatment and evaluation.
On January 5, the patient perished at the hospital. He has been identified at Keith Dorsey, 50, and the cause of death will be determined by the State Medical Examiner’s Office.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
