Mayor Pugh to Host Maryland Delegates for a Baltimore Food System Tour 

The tour will highlight many of Baltimore’s successful food system policies and programs, to inspire other jurisdictions to work together towards a collective food policy framework.   

 

BALTIMORE, Md.  — Mayor Pugh, the Baltimore Food Policy Initiative and the Institute for Public Health Innovation (IPHI) will host a tour for Maryland  Delegates showcasing Baltimore City’s Food Systems. The tour will visit several sites, beginning and ending at the Humanim Building. The tour will highlight many of Baltimore’s successful food system policies and programs, to inspire other jurisdictions to work together towards a collective food policy framework.

9:00 a.m. -1:30 p.m.

 

 WHERE:

The official tour begins at the Humanim Building, 1701 N Gay St, 5th floor, Baltimore, MD 21213. Please park in the blue lot.  This is located at the corner of N. Gay Street and Patterson Park Avenue. The state delegation will travel via motorcoach. Press is invited to follow behind in personal vehicles, meet the tour at any given stop, and/or attend the luncheon with the Mayor at Humanim at 12:00.
