Baltimore Police Arrest Two Robbery Suspects And Seek The Identity Of A Third Suspect

August 29, 2011 / Baltimore, Md - Baltimore Police have arrested Branch Sparrow, 30, and Allen Benny, 45, for an armed that occurred in the 3600 block of Fleet Street.
On August 26, 2011, just before 12:30am, officers were called to the 3600 block of Fleet Street for a report of an armed robbery. Officers located a victim who told them that he had just been robbed by two males. The victim stated that after pulling out a gun, the suspects took his money before fleeing from the area.
Officers immediately began to canvass the area for the two suspects. A short time later, officers located Branch Sparrow and Allen Benny who fit the description of the robbers.
After a brief investigation, Sparrow and Benny were both placed under arrest and charged with robbery, assault, and weapons violations.
Branch Sparrow is also responsible for two commercial robberies that occurred earlier this month in the city of Baltimore. The first occurred on August 13, 2011, at a video store in the 6800 block of Pulaski Highway. The second robbery occurred on August 25, 2011, in the 4800 block of O'Donnell Street.
Detectives are continuing to look for a third suspect who may have also been involved in at least one of the robberies. He is described as a white male, 5'9, with a medium build.
