Traffic Congestion Expected in Baltimore City for Today’s Afternoon/Evening Commute

Heavy traffic is also expected on Saturday

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that heavy traffic congestion is expected in Baltimore City this afternoon, Friday, April 24, 2015.

Motorists who will be traveling in Baltimore City today, especially the downtown area, are encouraged to plan ahead and allow additional travel time. Traffic congestion is anticipated during the afternoon and evening commutes with unpredictable conditions, so citizens should consider commuting earlier or staying later in order to avoid major delays.

Traffic congestion is also expected to occur in the city on Saturday afternoon. Motorists are encouraged to be prepared for possible delays, particularly in the downtown area.
