Traffic Congestion Expected in Baltimore City This Afternoon

 

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that heavy traffic congestion may exist  in Baltimore City this afternoon, Thursday, April 23, 2015.

 

Motorists who will be traveling in Baltimore today, especially the downtown area, are encouraged to plan ahead and allow additional travel time.  Traffic congestion is anticipated during the afternoon and evening commutes with unpredictable conditions.  Motorists  should consider commuting earlier or staying later in order to avoid major delays.  Employees who work in the downtown area are encouraged to depart the city before 3:00 p.m. to avoid major disruptions.
