Description: The Office of the Attorney General is seeking applicants for a full-time Assistant Attorney General to represent the Comptroller of Maryland in the Baltimore Office. The job responsibilities include representing the Comptroller in tax litigation before the Maryland Tax Court, circuit courts, and appellate courts; providing advice on issues relating to tax, employment and personnel, unclaimed property, legislation or regulations, and collections; and litigating employment termination and other miscellaneous agency matters. The attorney may also be required to provide advice to and handle litigation of matters on behalf of the Baltimore City Liquor Board and the Alcohol and Tobacco Commission.
