The Finance & Warrant Committee is meeting on Monday, April 13 at 6:30 PM (hybrid meeting) and below is what is on the posted agenda:

Here is a quick overview of discussion at the April 8 meeting:

Vote to close public hearings on Articles 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 15 (passed unanimously (9-0)
- Articles 3, 4, 5, and 16 were kept open for continued discussion on April 13 (Monday)

Next steps:
- FWC Chair/Vice Chair reconnect with the School Department before Monday's meeting to address outstanding headcount, transportation, and organizational chart questions
- Finance Director will provide average tax bill impact for scenarios submitted by the FWC for discussion during Monday's deliberations on Articles 3 (Operating Budget) and 4 (Capital Budget)
- Finance Director asked that Article 5 (Prior Year Bills) remain open for discussion on Monday to include one additional invoice just submitted
- FWC to develop a unified written message/talking points for Town Meeting Representative outreach at the Town Meeting Reorganization Meeting scheduled for April 27
- This will mirror past practice in recent years to engage directly with Town Meeting

This Spring, there is a total of sixteen (16) articles on the warrant, and a PDF copy is available using this link.
When will the final warrant book be available?
After all public meetings and deliberations by the Finance and Warrant Committee have ended, the final recommendations will be added to each warrant article, along with any applicable resources and materials, and used to create the warrant book. Town Meeting Representatives will receive a copy of the book in the mail no less than two weeks prior to Town Meeting. We will send follow-up communications when the books have been printed and placed in the mail so you can keep an eye out for them. A digital copy will also be available, once complete.
