Yard Waste Collection Schedule for July 2024
The following information is printed on pages 2 and 3 of your 2024 Trash & Recycling Collections Services Guide (previously mailed to your home):

Maroon Week: July 22 (Monday) through July 26 (Friday)

Gray Week: July 29 (Monday) to August 2 (Friday)
There is no yard waste collection during the first two weeks of July.
Your collection date is the same as your recycling collection date and is determined by your Street. Please visit pages 6 through 9 of your 2024 Collection Guide to verify and confirm your collection week and day.
Missed collection? If your yard waste is not collected on the scheduled day, please contact Boston Carting at 1-800-338-3867.
About Yard Waste Collection Services
There is a total of 22 weeks of curbside yard waste collection in 2024, offered seasonally, to assist residents with disposal of leaves and brush, as outlined below. Curbside yard waste collection is provided on a bi-weekly basis (unless otherwise noted) on your regular recycling day, determined by your Street. The 2024 schedule has been specifically designed to prioritize collections during the months when yard waste collection is typically at its heaviest (Spring and Fall).
Accepted Items and Guidelines
The following materials will be accepted for disposal as yard waste:
- Leaves, grass and other easily raked material.
- Branches and small brush less than 3-inches in diameter and cut into 3-foot lengths, bundled and tied (not to exceed 60 lbs.)
- Branches larger than 3-in diameter and 3-ft in length will NOT be accepted.
- All yard waste MUST be separated from household trash and recycling at the curb in open barrels or biodegradable yard waste bags.
- Plastic bags containing yard waste will NOT be collected.
