Table of Contents
Love Your Heart brings together partners across the U.S. and Mexico to prevent heart disease and stroke by empowering communities to take charge of their heart health. The program provides heart health resources that educate participants on blood pressure numbers and what they mean, while encouraging awareness and prevention. Organizations from all sectors are invited to host blood pressure screening sites and help promote Love Your Heart. The screening site application is open through Friday, January 16.

The organization is launching a poll on its website to invite young people in San Diego to participate in the democratic process by speaking out about the everyday challenges they face.

Youth Will and the Mental Health Action Team present the Mind Matters Panel on Access to Resources, a youth-led event ensuring young people’s voices shape mental health initiatives. On Sunday, January 25, at 12:00 pm, the panel will feature youth speakers and resource tables, giving attendees the chance to learn about local mental health services and explore support available in the community.
