Supporting Neurodiversity in the Workplace

Join us for the next Advancing Throughout the Year event! This virtual event will highlight Brain Balance of Greater San Diego and County of San Diego Neurodivergent Excellence. Join on Thursday, March 27 from 1:00pm - 3:00pm to learn how you can support neurodivergent employees in your organization, and hear from neurodivergent employees about their experiences and career growth. Measles Prevention

Measles is one of the most contagious viruses and can lead to severe illness, especially for children. Getting the measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine is the best way to prevent measles. Make sure you and your family are up to date on all your routine vaccines, including MMR. Learn more about recommended vaccines and visit the measles toolkit for more messages to share.

Flu Activity Remains High, But It’s Not Too Late to Get Vaccinated

Seasonal influenza cases and activity are high in California, but it's not too late to get the flu shot to prevent severe illness and hospitalization. CDPH recommends all Californians six months of age and older receive the flu vaccine to help protect against flu complications.

Bridging Differences in Higher Education Learning Fellowship

Apply to join the Bridging Differences in Higher Education Learning Fellowship, an 8-month facilitated virtual learning community hosted by UC Berkeley’s Greater Good Science Center (GGSC). The experience will center on the GGSC’s Bridging Differences free online course, giving participants a common reference point that is based on science. Applications are due by April 15, 2025.

What can administrators do to create more supportive environments in a fast-changing, politically unstable climate? Southeastern Live Well Center CBO Suite

The Southeastern Live Well Center provides a single stop for services and serves as a hub for collaboration. The Community Based Organizations (CBO) Suite is available at no cost to CBOs who serve the community. Call, email, or visit to reserve a workspace or huddle room. Reservations are available Monday – Friday from 7:00am – 5:00pm.

Your Future, Now: A Youth-Led Career Expo

Are you a youth job seeker, age 16-24, or a teacher looking to help students explore career pathways? Join the San Diego Promise Zone on Tuesday, March 18 from 10:00am - 1:00pm at 2150 Pan American Rd, San Diego, CA 92101 (Balboa Park Club) for their annual Jobs and Education event. Youth and young adults will learn resume-building and interview skills. Register here.

Recovery Field Day

Join people from across San Diego's recovery community for an incredible day of fun, games, and fellowship at the Second Annual Recovery Games! They will have a variety of activities like cornhole, spike ball, hula hoop games, and more. The event will be held on Sunday, March 23 from 11:00am - 2:00pm at San Diego State University.
