 Employment Social Enterprise (ESE) Program Year 2024-25
The ESE PY 24-25 grant competition solicits a second round of proposals to design, develop, and implement programs that will focus on the first step to transitioning participants into the workforce by placing individuals into employment, typically in a supported employment setting, to help them earn wages while building work experience, improving job skills as well as provide supportive services for California’s most vulnerable populations.
This initiative aims to design, develop, and implement programs that will promote job training opportunities and transitional employment through social enterprise programs for the hardest-to-serve individuals to provide economic self-sufficiency and life stability.

FAST 2.0 – Fast and Available Charging for All Californians
The California Energy Commission’s Clean Transportation Program announces the availability of up to $10,000,000 in grant funds for projects that will deploy fast electric vehicle charging infrastructure for the public.
Applications must include a minimum 50 percent total match share for this opportunity.

Technical Assistance for Zero-Emission Vehicle (ZEV) Infrastructure Funding
The California Energy Commission’s Clean Transportation Program announces the availability of up to $4 million in grant funds for one or more third-party implementers to provide technical assistance (TA) for communities eligible to seek federal and state funding for zero-emission vehicle (ZEV) infrastructure. TA providers will, at minimum, assist in identifying grant opportunities, support successful application development and submittal, and support project implementation that delivers benefits in under-resourced communities.

 Community Facilities Direct Loan & Grant Program in CA
The Community Facilities Direct Loan and Grant program provides affordable funding to develop essential community facilities in rural areas. An essential community facility is defined as a facility that provides an essential service to the local community for the orderly development of the community in a primarily rural area, and does not include private, commercial or business undertakings.
Eligible areas: Rural areas including cities, villages, townships and towns including Federally Recognized Tribal Lands with no more than 20,000 residents according to the latest U.S. Census Data are eligible for this program.

Humanities for All Quick Grants
Humanities for All is a grant program that supports locally initiated public humanities projects. This program responds to the needs and interests of Californians, encourages greater public participation in humanities programming, particularly by new and/or underserved audiences. It aims to promote understanding and empathy among the state’s peoples in order to cultivate a thriving democracy.
Funding amount: Between $1,000 and $5,000

Greenhouse Gas Reduction Loan Program
The Greenhouse Gas Reduction Loan Program provides funds to support new or expanded organics infrastructure, such as composting and anaerobic digestion facilities, as well as for facilities that manufacture fiber, plastic, or glass waste materials into beneficial products.
