Norovirus Prevention
Norovirus is a highly contagious virus that easily spreads from person to person, causing vomiting, diarrhea, nausea and stomach cramps. People with symptoms should keep away from others and take steps to prevent the spread of germs: wash hands often with soap and water (hand sanitizer does not work on norovirus), clean and disinfect surfaces, and avoid preparing food for others while sick and for two days after feeling better. Learn more about norovirus prevention and check out norovirus resources for awareness and outreach.
