San Diego County Employees' Charitable Organization - Community Grant
The San Diego County Employees' Charitable Organization (CECO) is accepting applicants for 2025 Community Grants!
With the mission of Lending a Hand, CECO has supported local non-profits since 1956. 100% of contributions address the diverse needs of San Diego. CECO grants funds towards tangible goods, such as equipment and furnishing, that directly benefit the population served by the program.
Nonprofit organizations and educational institutions can apply for up to $10,000 to fund tangible goods like equipment and furnishings that benefit San Diego communities.

2024-2025 Climate and Health Demonstration Sites: Small and Rural Local Health Departments Encouraged to Apply!
The National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) supports local efforts to track, prevent, and mitigate the health effects of climate change such as local adaptation planning, preparing communities for extreme weather, and all-hazards disaster planning. To this end, NACCHO, with support from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, intends to award up to two (2) entities for up to $16,000 each to support climate change and health adaptation initiatives at the local level.

California's LGBTQ+ History Grant
The Preservation & Accessibility of California’s LGBTQ+ History Grant opportunity provides the state of California funding for California institutions to support the preservation and public accessibility of LGBTQ+ archives.
Organizations and collections must be California-based, and projects must support the physical or digital preservation of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or queer materials relevant to the LGBTQ+ movement, culture, experience, and/or history within California
Minimum funding request: $15,000 Maximum funding request: $100,000

Empowering Nonprofits to Work on Tobacco Prevention in American Indian/Alaskan Native Communities
The California Department of Public Health's (CDPH) California Tobacco Control Branch seeks to fund up to six (6) Federally Recognized California Tribal Governments to address tobacco-related disparities affecting the American Indian population. The Program aims to accomplish this through policy, system, and environmental change strategies by increasing community engagement within populations disproportionately targeted by the tobacco industry.
The estimated amount of funding per award ranges from $900,000 - $1,035,000.

Reducing Overdose Deaths in California through Prevention, Treatment and Harm Reduction Strategies led by Multi-Sector Coalitions
The California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) seeks to fund local overdose prevention coalitions to reduce overdose deaths from illicitly manufactured fentanyl and other drugs through implementation of overdose prevention, treatment, and harm reduction strategies.

Greenhouse Gas Reduction Loan Program
The Greenhouse Gas Reduction Loan Program provides funds to support new or expanded organics infrastructure, such as composting and anaerobic digestion facilities, as well as for facilities that manufacture fiber, plastic, or glass waste materials into beneficial products.
