American Indian Education Center Request for Applications
The California Department of Education is granting a Request for Applications (RFA) to solicit applications from eligible Tribal Groups or Incorporated American Indian Associations for grants to operate American Indian Education Centers (AIEC).
The budget is anticipated to allocate approximately $5.1 million for the fiscal year 2024-25. AIEC funds may be used for several purposes, to include improving the academic achievement of American Indian pupils, and provide training programs to develop pathways to college and the workplace for American Indian pupils.

Export Training Grant Program
The International Affairs and Trade unit at the Governor's Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz) launched their Export Training Program, which offers competitive grants ranging from $20,000 to $200,000 to service providers to develop or scale export training programs and curricula.
The program is aimed at supporting California small business owners, providing access to export services for underserved businesses, advancing immigrant integration and supporting immigrant entrepreneurs, and including training programs in languages other than English wherever possible.

Active Transportation Program
The Active Transportation Plan was implemented to encourage increased use of active modes of transportation, increase the safety and mobility of non-motorized users, advance efforts of regional agencies to achieve greenhouse gas reduction, and enhance overall public health, including in disadvantaged communities.
