Prepare for Potential Flooding in San Diego County

With forecasters predicting more heavy rains across San Diego County Monday and Tuesday, please take necessary precautions to protect your family and property, have a plan, and an Evacuation Go-Kit so you are ready.

Do not put debris near the curb where it can wash away in the rain and cause a hazard. If you live in the unincorporated area and your home was damaged by the recent storm, please call 2-1-1 to arrange debris removal Tuesday or Wednesday.

Alert San Diego - Recovery
211 San Diego - Local Assistance Center Resources
- The City of San Diego has set up a Local Assistance Center at the Mountain View Community Recreation Center for residents impacted by the recent storms. The center will be closed on Monday, Feb. 5, and Tuesday, Feb. 6, due to inclement weather.
County News Center - The storm shelter set up for flood victims in the wake of the Jan. 22 storm has moved. The new location is at the City of San Diego Municipal Gym at Balboa Park

HOW YOU CAN HELP:

Local governments are working with non-profits serving residents in need. Donations to the San Diego Foundation (SDF) Flood Response Fund will provide emergency grants to nonprofit service organizations engaged in disaster response and relief.
