RTA has added a much-requested stop at Gen. Degaulle and Illinois on 105-Algiers Local. This stop serves Depaul Community Health Center and the Louisiana Department of Children and Family offices, important destinations for our community.
We love seeing the impact of service improvements on the lives of our riders. When this new stop was added, rider Ms. Joucelyn B. was “overjoyed,” as this stop is near her job. This afforded her the ability to travel from her home on Manhattan Blvd to work and back with ease. Additionally, this stop allows her to visit her elderly uncle more often.
Overall Ms. Joucelyn gives RTA a grade of A. She notes that RTA is listening to riders and implementing changes that affect riders’ lives in a positive way. Stop 8558 is a “blessing” for her, her co-workers, and their clients. She is pleased with the price of the fare and really loves the fact that texting 41411 provides her with real-time updates on the bus schedule.
Whether it’s game day at the Dome, a fall festival in your neighborhood, or a night out with friends, RTA is here to get you there safely and reliably. With buses, streetcars, and ferries, you can skip the stress of parking and traffic and focus on what matters most — enjoying the moment.
