Virtual Community Meeting for the Development of 1141 Esplanade Ave. on January 21st
New Orleans Redevelopment Authority (NORA) and its selected development partners HRI Communities and New Orleans Restoration Properties will host a virtual community meeting for updates on the development of 1141 Esplanade Ave. - the Esplanade Delille Apartments. The planned development includes 50 units of mixed-income housing with two ground floor commercial spaces. During the meeting, the project team will update the community on the project’s current status and construction timeline.

NOLA Public Schools Early Learning and Child Care Main Round Application is Now Open
NEW ORLEANS, LA – NOLA Public Schools Early Learning and Child Care Main Round application is now open and will run through February 20, 2026. The Main Round application period allows eligible families the opportunity to enroll their children in FREE high-quality early childcare education programs in Orleans Parish.

Who Can Apply: Expectant mothers, parents, and guardians with children from birth - 4 years old and are residents of Orleans Parish

How to Apply: Visit EnrollNolaPS.com and complete the NOLA-PS Early Learning Online Application
Parents and guardians are encouraged to visit the NOLA Public Schools website at EnrollNolaPS.com for detailed information about the application process, eligibility criteria, and available early learning and child care programs.
NOLA-PS’ Family Resource Centers can assist families enrolling in NOLA-PS schools and early childhood programs. The centers are conveniently located across the city and open for walk-in support Monday - Thursday and virtual meetings on Fridays.
