City of New Orleans Issues Statement

NEW ORLEANS — The City of New Orleans issued the following statement:

 

On Wednesday, April 23, a mediation was held where the City of New Orleans, the New Orleans City Council, and the Orleans Parish School Board (OPSB) were present.  As a result of efforts put forth by Judge Nicole Sheppard, and the willingness of all parties involved, an agreement was reached and is pending the approval of the OPSB.
