DPW772 2024 Right of Way Project
Scope: Roadway resurfacing, re-striping, sidewalk repairs, installation of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)-compliant ramps, and driveway apron repairs

Status: Crews have completed roadway striping on Rampart, Dryades, Perdido, and Girod streets.
Upcoming work on St. Charles Avenue (between Canal and Poydras streets) and Carondelet Street (between Common and Canal streets) will include replacing asphalt around the streetcar tracks with concrete. This work, originally scheduled to begin in late March, is now expected to begin the week of April 14. More information about traffic impacts, lane closures, and parking restrictions will be provided as the project start date approaches.

- Ursulines Avenue: 500 – 1000 blocks
- St. Philip Street: 600 – 1000 blocks
- St. Ann Street: 600, 900 – 1000 blocks
- St. Louis Street: 1100 block
- Madison Street: 600 block
- St. Peter Street: 600 block
- Conti Street: 500 – 600 / 900 – 1100 blocks
- Clinton Street: 200 block
- Chartres Street: 100 – 600 / 800 – 1300 blocks
- Frenchmen Street: 400 – 600 blocks
- Burgundy Street: 2200 – 2500 blocks
- Decatur Street: 2200 – 2500 blocks
- Royal Street: 2800 – 4300 blocks
Status: On April 4, paving is scheduled for the 2300 and 2500 blocks of Burgundy Street. Crews will also perform roadway patching in the 600 block of St. Philip Street.

Scope: Patch, Mill and Resurfacing work at various locations

- Iberville St. (N. Peters St. – Royal St.)
- Exchange Pl. (Canal St. – Iberville St.)
- Kerlerec St. (Bourbon St. – Chartres St.)
- Kerlerec St. (N. Rampart St. – Dauphine St.)
- Chartres St. (Kerlerec St. – Frenchmen St.)
- Desaix Blvd. (St. Bernard Ave. – Winthrop Pl.)
- Alden Pl.
- Derby Pl. (Gentilly Blvd. – N. Salcedo St.)
- Saltus St. (Trafalgar St. – Castiglione St.)
- Columbus St. (Bayou Rd. – N. Broad St)
Status: Milling and paving operations on Exchange Place (Canal to Iberville) are now complete. At Monument Plaza (Basin and Canal), work on the Walk of Fame is ongoing. On Iberville Street (Royal – N. Peters), crews have completed the removal of damaged concrete panels and resurfaced the roadway with asphalt.
Beginning April 7, Boh Bros. Construction will start milling and paving operations on the following streets:

Kerlerec Street (from Bourbon to St. Charles Avenue and from N. Rampart to Dauphine)

Chartres Street (from Kerlerec to Frenchmen)
Full street closures will be in place during work hours, generally from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Streets will reopen to traffic at the end of each workday. Work is expected to take approximately two days, weather permitting.
Starting April 9, crews will begin resurfacing streets in the Fairgrounds area. Streets scheduled for milling and paving include:

Crews will work from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Full street closures will be in place during work hours and lifted at the end of each day. The Fairgrounds area resurfacing is expected to last approximately eight days, depending on weather and other conditions.

Hotel Collapse Site Rehabilitation
Scope: Waterline installation, drainage upgrades, pavement, and sidewalk restoration
Status: Granite sidewalk installation along Canal Street, from Rampart Street to Burgundy Street, is expected to be completed early next week.
Grout repairs in the median at the Canal and Rampart intersections are ongoing and anticipated to continue through next week, weather permitting.
Downman Road / Lincoln Beach Project
Scope: Road resurfacing, striping, sidewalk repairs, and underground utility updates

Leon C. Simon: Press Dr to Elysian Fields Ave
Status: On Leon C. Simon Drive, crews have completed the removal and replacement of concrete roadway panels between Elysian Fields Avenue and the Seabrook Bridge. Sidewalk, ADA ramp, and curb improvements are currently underway.
All work has been completed on Downman Road, Lincoln Beach Boulevard, and Providence Place.
