2024 CBD Right of Way Project
Scope: Roadway resurfacing, re-striping, sidewalk repairs, installation of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)-compliant ramps, and driveway apron repairs

- Constance St. (John Churchill Chase St. – Andrew Higgins Blvd.)
Status:
Rampart & Dryades Streets: Paving operations are complete, and striping is currently underway. Crews are also finishing minor striping details—such as triangles and corner zones—on Perdido and Girod streets.
St. Charles & Carondelet Streets (Poydras to Canal): Barriere Construction is scheduled to remove concrete around the streetcar tracks and replace it with asphalt. The work, originally set to begin March 24, has been tentatively delayed by approximately one week.

- Gov. Nicholls Street: 600 – 1000 blocks
- Ursulines Avenue: 500 – 1000 blocks
- St. Philip Street: 600 – 1000 blocks
- St. Ann Street: 600, 900 – 1000 blocks
- St. Louis Street: 1100 block
- Madison Street: 600 block
- St. Peter Street: 700-1000 block
- Conti Street: 500 – 600 / 900 – 1100 blocks
- Clinton Street: 200 block
- Chartres Street: 100 – 600 / 800 – 1300 blocks
- Frenchmen Street: 400 – 600 blocks
- Burgundy Street: 2200 – 2500 blocks
- Decatur Street: 2200 – 2500 blocks
Status: Crews are currently working on Iberville Street between Royal and Chartres streets to remove damaged concrete panels and resurface the roadway with new asphalt. While the work was originally expected to be completed today, it has been extended and is now scheduled to wrap up on Monday.

2024 CBD Right of Way - Phase 2 Improvements
Scope: Patch, Mill and Resurfacing work at various locations
Locations:
- Magazine Street (Nashville Avenue to East Drive)
- Exchange Place (Canal – Iberville)
- Monument Plaza (Basin and Canal)
Status:
Exchange Place (Canal – Iberville): Crews began milling the roadway on Friday and will begin paving on Monday. The street will be closed to vehicular traffic during this work but will temporarily reopen over the weekend for limited access.
Monument Plaza (Basin and Canal): Work continues at Monument Plaza. Boh Bros. is currently installing sod and maintaining it with regular watering. Crews are also in the process of laying out the Walk of Fame.
Hotel Collapse Site Rehabilitation
Scope: Waterline installation, drainage upgrades, pavement, and sidewalk restoration
Status: On Monday, March 24, 2024, crews will begin installing granite sidewalks along Canal Street from Rampart Street to Burgundy Street. This work is expected to take approximately two weeks to complete. Throughout the duration of the project, businesses will remain accessible at all times.
Downman Road / Lincoln Beach Project
Scope: Road resurfacing, striping, sidewalk repairs, and underground utility updates

Leon C. Simon: Press Dr to Elysian Fields Ave
Status: On Leon C. Simon, crews continue to remove and replace concrete roadway panels from Elysian Fields to the Seabrook Bridge. One lane of traffic will remain open in the direction where construction is not taking place. All work on Downman Road, Lincoln Beach Blvd. and Providence Pl. is completed.
