NORD to Host Annual Youth and Teens Summer Camp Expo Saturday, March 8

NEW ORLEANS — Today, the City of New Orleans announced that the New Orleans Recreation Development (NORD) Commission will host its annual Youth and Teens Summer Camp Expo on Saturday, March 8, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at five locations across the city.

At the expo, registration for NORD’s 2025 youth and teen career summer camps will officially open. Parents can register their children for any NORD camp at any of the five locations. Hard copies of all required documents must be provided for on-site registration.
This year, NORD is offering 28 summer camps for youth ages 4-12 and teens ages 13-15 through partnerships with schools, nonprofits, and faith-based organizations. Camps will provide a variety of academic, cultural, and recreational activities, including field trips to the Audubon Zoo, Aquarium of the Americas, and NORD pools for water safety lessons.
Representatives from NORD’s summer camp partners will be available at each expo location to answer questions and provide program details. For a full list of camp offerings and registration requirements, visit www.nordc.org.
