2024 FQ Right of Way Project
Scope: Roadway resurfacing, re-striping, sidewalk repairs, installation of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)-compliant ramps, and driveway apron repairs

- Gov. Nicholls Street: 600 – 1000 blocks
- Ursulines Avenue: 500 – 1000 blocks
- St. Philip Street: 600 – 1000 blocks
- St. Ann Street: 600, 900 – 1000 blocks
- St. Louis Street: 1100 block
- Madison Street: 600 block
- St. Peter Street: 700-1000 block
- Conti Street: 500 – 600 / 900 – 1100 blocks
- Clinton Street: 200 block
- Chartres Street: 100 – 600 / 800 – 1300 blocks
- Frenchmen Street: 400 – 600 blocks
- Burgundy Street: 2200 – 2500 blocks
- Decatur Street: 2200 – 2500 blocks
Status: Last week, crews milled Bienville and Conti streets between N. Peters and N. Front Street and completed sidewalk replacements in the 600–1000 blocks of Gov. Nicholls. Over the weekend, demolition work was performed on the Simon Bolivar Monument (Basin St.).
This week, paving operations are underway on Bienville and Conti, while Dumaine is scheduled for milling and paving in the 600–1000 blocks. Crews are also replacing sidewalks in the 600–1000 blocks of St. Philip St., milling Royal St. from 2800–4300, and removing the concrete and paving binder in the 600–700 blocks of Iberville.

Status: This week, paving is scheduled for the following streets: Gravier, Old Poydras, St. Charles, Girod, Natchez, Carondelet, Union, Gaiennie, and John Churchill Chase. The remaining streets to be milled and paved after the Super Bowl include: Constance, Rampart, Dryades, S. Johnson, and Poeyfarre. Concrete work is continuing.

Scope: Waterline installation, drainage upgrades, pavement, and sidewalk restoration
Status: All streets (N. Rampart, Iberville Canal, and Burgundy) will be completed by the end of this week, with striping scheduled to begin on Thursday. No work will take place next week due to the Super Bowl. Remaining work, including granite sidewalk repairs on Canal Street and final grout repairs at Canal and Rampart, will resume after the Super Bowl.

Downman Road / Lincoln Beach Project
Scope: Road resurfacing, striping, sidewalk repairs, and underground utility updates

Leon C. Simon: Press Dr to Elysian Fields Ave
Status: Crews are expected to complete the remaining sidewalk work on Downman this week and will also begin striping the roadway. On Leon C. Simon between Franklin and Elysian Fields, crews have started removing and replacing concrete roadway panels. While this work is underway, westbound lane closures are anticipated to last through February 2025.

Scope: Repairing and upgrading concrete and specialty sidewalks (brick/stone)

Jackson Square: Crews are currently resetting broken stones and grouting areas where grout is missing. This work is expected to continue through the end of the month.

Barracks (Rampart to Dauphine): Concrete work on Barracks (from Rampart to Dauphine) will begin this week and is scheduled to last for two weeks.

Perdido (Loyola and S. Claiborne): Sidewalk and handicap accessibility work is set to begin this week and will continue through the end of February.
