NORD Hosts Christmas Toy Giveaway Drive-Thru for Kids Ages 0-12

NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Recreation Development (NORD) Commission invites the community to a festive Christmas Toy Giveaway drive-through on Saturday, Dec. 21. The event will take place at the Lafitte Greenway, located at 1891 St. Louis St., starting at 9 a.m. and continuing until all toys are distributed.
This annual giveaway aims to spread joy and holiday cheer to children ages 0-12 in New Orleans. Families are encouraged to arrive early, as toys will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Children must be present to receive toys, and strict security measures will be enforced to ensure a safe and efficient event for everyone. Vehicles should line up beginning at 1891 St. Louis St. and N. Roman St., with cars facing Claiborne Avenue once in the drive-through line.

This event highlights what makes New Orleans special with our commitment to uplifting one another and making sure no child is left out of the holiday spirit.”
The event is made possible through the generous support of the City of New Orleans, The Crayon Case, Vulture Mafia, and donations from New Orleans community members and students at Xavier University.
