On Monday, November 25th, The Mayor’s Neighborhood Engagement Office (NEO) will host their fourth annual Turkey Giveaway, a community initiative to help New Orleans families prepare for the Thanksgiving holiday.
The giveaway will begin at 3PM at the Central City Senior Center (2101 Philip Street). There will be both a walk-up line and drive-up option. Please note, one turkey per household will be provided until supplies last. Turkeys and fixings will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Drive-up line: Please enter on Philip St. and Oretha Castle Haley Blvd
Walk-up line: The line will start at the intersection of Philip St. and Loyola Ave.
