Under Superintendent Woodfork's strategic crime plan, the New Orleans Police Department will host a Summer Midnight Basketball initiative. This Community Engagement initiative is open to the public to attend. Any age or team is eligible to sign up. The games will begin June 1, 2023, with our kickoff event. Midnight Basketball is an 8 week summer initiative for the entire family. Come out and enjoy a fun community game, while getting resource information too.

 NORD's inaugural NOLA Gen Fezt is open to youth between the ages of 13 - 18 years old. The event will take place from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. on June 17, on the Lafitte Greenway.

We're NOLA GEN FEZT, a music festival put together for teenagers by teenagers. In addition to music, games, and experiences, we want to uplift the young entrepreneurs of this city by giving the community a chance to sell their goods.
