Bring your friends and family to NORD's Annual Kite Day! There will be prizes for the fastest kite, best decorated, bounce houses, snacks, arts & crafts, and music. This is an outdoor event for the entire family. No admission cost and open to all.

NORD's Inaugural Golf Tournament - May 20, 2023

Golf

NORD will host annual Golf Tournament on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the Joseph M. Bartholomew Municipal Golf Course located at 6514 Congress Drive in Gentilly.  The tournament is a four-person scramble with a 8:00 am shotgun start.  Lunch and beverages will be provided.  Participants will also have an opportunity to purchase "mulligans" on the course during the tournament. The event will also feature a Silent Auction with items from local restaurants, hotel stays, and sports and other memorabilia. Bidding will occur before and after the tournament. 

Individuals interested in playing can sign up or register a team of four.  Registration can be found NORD Annual Golf Tournament .  All proceeds will benefit the NORD Foundation.

Nature Photo Contest Spring 2023

Calling all photographers of all skill levels in Greater New Orleans! Get outside, take pictures and win prizes! Submit up to three photos celebrating nature in NOLA in our annual spring online contest. Photos may include wildlife, plants, natural landscapes, people enjoying the outdoors, or any photo in which nature is the central theme.  

Vote for your favorites via the contest website. The contest runs from March 1 – April 17.  

An Audubon Family Membership is awarded the top three winners. Other prizes are awarded to honorable mentions. Winners are announced on Earth Day. FREE and open to all!
