The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries stocked the lagoons at Joe W. Brown Park with Rainbow Trout on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at 7:00 a.m. as part of the "Get Out and Fish!" program. Come out and enjoy this unique opportunity to fish for the cold-weather Rainbow Trout that can only be stocked during the heart of Louisiana winters when water temperatures are below 67F.
We received 500 pounds of rainbow trout, so come and fish for them while you can.
