Missing Juvenile Reported to NOPD Fourth District
NEW ORLEANS – The NOPD is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a juvenile male reported to be missing.
The reporting person stated that 5-year-old Vernon Willis Jr. (pictured at right) was last seen in the custody of his mother, Laquanta Joseph (pictured at left, black female, DOB: 10-22-1998) on October 31, 2021. The reporting person has since gained custody of Willis but is unaware of either Willis' or Joseph's current location.
Anyone with additional information on the location of either Vernon Willis Jr. and/or Laquanta Joseph is asked to contact NOPD Fourth District detectives at 504-658-6040.
