NOPD Announces Promotions at Several Ranks
NEW ORLEANS - The NOPD announces that on Friday, June 17, 2022, the following officers were promoted to the ranks of Deputy Chief, Captain, Lieutenant, and Sergeant.
Deputy Chief
- Jonette Williams will be assigned to the Management Services Bureau. She was previously Captain of the Fourth District.
Captain
- Sandra Contreras will assume command of the Fourth District. She was previously assigned to Investigation and Support Bureau/Central Evidence &Property)
Lieutenant
- Christopher Johnson will be assigned to Central Evidence and Property. He was previously assigned to the Investigation and Support Bureau.
- Troy Lyles will be assigned to the Second District. She was previously assigned to the Field Operations Bureau.
Sergeant
- Tejon Lewis will be assigned to the Fourth District. She was previously assigned the 3rd District.
- Jonathan Burnette will be assigned to the Sixth District. He was previously assigned to the 3rd District.
- Johnnie Harper Jr. will be assigned to the Seventh District. He was previously assigned to the 6th District).
- Cinnamon Rochon will be assigned to the Second District. She was previously assigned to the Management Services Bureau/Education and Training Academy.
