NOPD Arrests Suspect for Filing False Public Records

New Orleans, LA-The NOPD has arrested 29-year-old Andrewnisha Delmore in connection with Filing False Public Records. The offense occurred on March 17, 2022, in the 3100 block of Mansfield Avenue.

 

According to investigators, Ms. Delmore reported that her child had been kidnapped during a domestic dispute. Fourth District officers gained the assistance of the New Orleans Police Department’s Child Abuse Unit and officers from several districts across the city to conduct an extensive search for the child.

 

During the course of the investigation, detectives learned that Ms. Delmore placed her child in the custody of her neighbor prior to falsely reporting that her child had been kidnapped.

 

Ms. Delmore was arrested and booked accordingly for Filing False Public Records.
