COVID-19 Requirements for NORD Facilities
Please note, all patrons, ages 5 and older, need to show proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test within 72 hours to enter establishments with a high risk of #COVID transmission, including NORD facilities. Here's how you can provide the necessary documentation. More details at ready.nola.gov/restrictions.
We are continuing to repair the damage to our facilities and playgrounds in the aftermath of Hurricane Ida. We are working diligently to bring these locations back online, so the community can resume recreational activities.
Alma Peters Playspot will be undergoing improvements from Dec 2021-May 2022 and the park will be closed during this time.
Legacy Basketball Court at the Morris F.X. Jeff Rec Center will be undergoing renovations from Thursday, January 13 - Tuesday, March 29 and will be closed during this time.
Pratt Park playground area will be closed for Capital Park Improvements beginnings on Feb. 1 and ending on August 31.
