On Monday, January 11, Nix Library will close for ADA compliant facility upgrades.
Project Overview:
This 3-month project consists of facility upgrades, which include installing an ADA-compliant ramp at the entrance to the building and upgrading the public restroom to be ADA-compliant. Nix Library will be temporarily closed during renovations.
Library Preparations:
Beginning on Monday, January 4, items cannot be returned to Nix Library.
On Tuesday, January 5, Nix will discontinue 45-Minute In-Library Sessions.
Contactless Pick-Up & Drop-Off will continue at Nix through Thursday, January 7.
Project Start Date:
Nix Library will temporarily close for renovations on Monday, January 11.
Reopening Date:
A reopening date will be added when renovations are complete. Please visit nolalibrary.org for the latest information.
Book Holds & Returns:
During the closure, books on hold that are usually picked up at Nix Library may be sent to any of our other 14 Library locations. You may request to have them sent to another location by logging into your Library account online or by calling any location. Items may not be returned to Nix Library while it is closed to the public. Items may be returned to any other Library location.
