The COVID-19 Meal Assistance Program is underway! It is funded by FEMA and available for eligible residents in Orleans Parish. A vendor partnering with local restaurants will deliver (2) meals per day to eligible residents for this 30-day program.
Eligible residents include:
- Seniors (60 years and above)
- Adults with high-risk health conditions & special medical needs
- Individuals who test positive for COVID-19 or have been exposed and require isolation or quarantine
- Homeless residents
- Children under 18 years old who are not receiving meals from NOLA public Schools
To sign up for the program, residents in need can either call 3-1-1 or submit their request online at nola.gov/311. Please note that residents who are currently receiving federal food assistance, such as Meals on Wheels or SNAP, are NOT eligible for this program.
