Downtown Bike Network Open House Set for May 14
NEW ORLEANS — The Office of Transportation, in partnership with the Downtown Development District, on Tuesday, May 14, will host one last Moving New Orleans Bikes open-house planning meeting that will focus on the downtown area. The meeting will run from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and will adhere to the same workshop style that informed the previous meetings in each council district in April.
Whether residents have already attended a workshop, all are encouraged to access the online survey and mapping tool by clicking here. We need input from residents to help to identify ways we can achieve the following goals:
- Make biking safe and comfortable for people of all ages
- Connect people to jobs/destinations, and
- Make the bike network more equitable and accessible to everyone in New Orleans.
