Subject Sought in Seventh District Armed Robbery, Shooting
NEW ORLEANS – The NOPD is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a subject believed to be responsible for an armed robbery on May 3, 2019 in the 6000 block of Chef Menteur Highway that also involved an aggravated battery by shooting.
At approximately noon, the victim allegedly met with the wanted subject near the intersection of Chef Menteur Highway and Downman Road. The two then reportedly walked together to an empty lot in the 6000 block of Chef Menteur Highway, where the wanted subject then allegedly shot the victim and stole the victim’s pants before fleeing the scene. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
