Bike Network Planning Moves to Monday

NEW ORLEANS — Due to expected inclement weather, the final District E Open House for the planned bicycle network has been moved to Monday (April 22) from Thursday (April 18). The rescheduled meeting will still be held at the same location and time: East New Orleans Regional Library (5641 Read Blvd.), 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Storms, some of which could be severe, are forecast to move through New Orleans in the afternoon and evening on Thursday, April 18. Residents and visitors are encouraged to prepare for potentially severe weather and to stay weather aware. Learn more here at NOLA Ready.

The City of New Orleans’ Office of Transportation, in collaboration with the Department of Public Works, the City Planning Commission and our community partners, is presenting a series of "open house" neighborhood workshops to engage residents about the upcoming plan to expand and improve the City’s bike network, also known as Moving New Orleans Bikes.
