Over a two-week period in January a task force comprised of NOPD VOWS, US Marshal Task Force, FBI Violent Crimes Task Force, Louisiana Probation & Parole, HANO, and EMS conducted a round up serving warrants and arresting 45 individuals for a variety of offenses.
The roundup was effort to maintain the positive momentum established in 2018 with the historic reductions in the number of murders, a double-digit percent reduction in armed robberies, and the significant reduction in gun violence.
