Community Office Hours Return for 2019!
City Hall is coming to your neighborhood! In an effort to better connect residents with local government, City Hall is excited to announce the expansion of the Mayor’s Community Office Hours Program beginning Tuesday, January 22, 2019.
Residents will have the opportunity to engage with representatives from various city departments more often and at more locations throughout the city.
Community Office Hours will be held on Monday through Wednesday from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
The new Community Office Hours locations are as follows:

District A: Mid City Library (4140 Canal St.)

District B: Milton H. Latter Memorial Library (5120 St. Charles Ave.)

*District C: Eastbank: Treme Rec Center (900 N. Villere St.)

*District C: Westbank: Arthur Monday Multi-Service Center (1111 Newton St.)

District D: Milne Rec Center (5420 Franklin Ave.)
-
*District E: New Orleans East: East New Orleans Regional Library (5641 Read Blvd.)

*District E: Lower Ninth Ward: Sanchez Multi-Service Center (1616 Caffin Ave.)
*Community Office Hours will alternate locations each day between the Eastbank and Westbank in District C, and will alternate locations each day between the Lower Ninth Ward and New Orleans East in District E.

Mayor Cantrell Names Commander Shaun Ferguson as New NOPD Superintendent
On Monday, January 14, Mayor LaToya Cantrell, joined by several public safety leaders, announced her selection for the new superintendent of the New Orleans Police Department: Commander Shaun Ferguson.

NOLA 311 is Now 24/7
NOLA 311 is New Orleans' primary source of local government information and non-emergency services. Having been moved under the umbrella of the Orleans Parish Communications District, 311 will be available day or night, seven days a week. Residents can now also submit and track their service requests online.

Help Clean Up New Orleans
CleanUp NOLA is a city-wide, fully coordinated initiative that will unite the efforts of multiple civil departments and the community behind a single goal for a cleaner, healthier and more welcoming city. Neighborhood associations, churches, non-profits, and other community groups are able to register clean up days through the Neighborhood Engagement Office.
