Suspect
Identified in Aggravated Assault on Decatur Street
NEW ORLEANS
– The NOPD has
obtained an arrest warrant for Alfred Lankster (DOB: 12-03-1984) in connection
with an aggravated assault that occurred on September 17, 2018 in the 300 block
of Decatur Street.
At about 9:30 a.m., Lankster is believed to
have walked by the victim and punched him in the face. The victim then reportedly
approached the subject, who allegedly armed himself with a pipe from the bed of
a pickup truck and then picked up a large knife from the rear of the pickup
truck. The subject then reportedly started walking towards the victim, causing
the victim to back away, and the subject walked down Decatur Street towards St.
Louis Street.
