NOPD to Conduct Sobriety Checkpoint Evening of Aug. 24-25

On Duty


NEW ORLEANS – The NOPD Traffic Division will conduct an upcoming sobriety checkpoint within Orleans Parish.

 

The checkpoint will be in operation between the hours of 10:00 p.m. Friday, August 24, 2018, and 3:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 25, 2018.

 

During this time, motorists will experience minimal delays at the checkpoint and should have the proper documentation available if requested by officers (i.e., proof of insurance, driver’s license, etc.)
