Person of Interest Wanted in Hit & Run and for Simple Battery
NEW ORLEANS –The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in locating Willie Smith (DOB: 12/18/89) as a person of interest in a simple battery and hit and run incident that occurred on July 25, 2018.
The below person is believed to have been the driver during a hit and run and assault on a DOTD driver at the intersection of Louisa Street and Higgins Boulevard. Smith’s vehicle was towed and officers located several items that belonged to him.
