Subject Wanted for Aggravated Assault, Simple Battery
NEW ORLEANS – NOPD
officers are searching for Anthony Brandy Crawford (DOB: 06/28/1997), who is
wanted for his involvement in an aggravated assault and simple battery incident
that occurred at the intersection of I-10 Service Road and Ridgefield Drive.
The victim told police at or around 10:55 p.m. on Monday,
July 16, 2018, she met with her acquaintance to retrieve items from her vehicle.
The passenger of the vehicle, who was later identified as Crawford, exited and approached the victim’s vehicle with a
semi-automatic handgun. The wanted subject allegedly threatened the victims
with the weapon. Crawford then reportedly opened the back door of the victim’s
vehicle and struck one of the passengers.
