Pair Wanted for Simple Robbery on Royal Street &
Pirates Alley
NEW ORLEANS – The NOPD is
searching for the two pictured subjects seen on surveillance video wanted in connection
with a simple robbery incident.
The
incident happened on July 4, 2018. At about 1:42 a.m., the victim was standing
at the
intersection
of Royal Street and Pirates Alley taking a photo with his cellphone when one of the male suspects grabbed the victim from behind in a choke hold. The victim managed to
push the subject away and the suspect fled the location.
The
victim then realized that his glasses and wallet were both missing.
Surveillance
video of two subjects can be seen here. The video was obtained with
assistance from ProjectNOLA and shows one of the suspects going through the victim's wallet following the incident.
